Secondary re-bar prices remained stable in the major markets today, as per SteelMint assessment. However, minor fluctuations in prices in the range of INR 100-200/t d-o-d were observed owing to dull sentiments and limited buying enquiries in the spot market. Higher raw material prices and moderate transactions in TMT steel in the last couple of days – varying across markets – provided some support to prices despite low buying enquiries and spot trading today, sources reported.
