Secondary rebar market witnessed limited buying inquiries and trade activities today. Prices fluctuated by INR 100-300/t on a d-o-d basis in major markets except in Chennai where it fell sharply by INR 900/t due to higher prices compared to other competitive markets. As per trade sources, near term rebar prices may remain weak particularly in a few specific regions of Western and Southern India.
