India: SECL’s Korba area registers highest ever single day dispatch

Korba area, one of the four major coal producing regions of South Eastern Coalfields Ltd (SECL), has registered the highest ever dispatch of 32,183 t on 29 Aug’22 since its inception. The previous milestone for dispatch was recorded on 9 Jul’22. It is to be noted that India’s biggest coal producing mines Dipka, Gevra and Kusmunda come under the Korba region.
