South Eastern Coalfields Ltd (SECL) will conduct two auctions in mid-Mar’25, offering 2.42 mnt of non-coking coal. On 12 Mar, SECL will auction 1.52 mnt of grades SC-II, G6, G7, G8, G9, G11, and G12. The following day, 13 Mar, 0.90 mnt will be auctioned, comprising G8, G9, G10, G11, and G12. These auctions are expected to cater to demand from sponge iron, power, and other industrial sectors.
