India: SECL, ECL to auction over 2.6 mnt of coal in mid-Jan’26

Coal India subsidiaries, SECL and ECL, have announced fresh auctions in mid-Jan’26, offering over 2.6 mnt of coal, across both coking and non-coking variants.

• 15 Jan’26 – SECL will auction 806,050 t of non-coking coal.
• 16 Jan’26 – SECL will auction 1,232,000 t of non-coking coal.
• 15 Jan’26 – ECL will offer 571,250 t across G3, G4, G5, W-III, W-IV, and W-V grades.
