Alang’s shipbreaking melting scrap prices dropped INR 100/t d-o-d except few sizes on 29 Jan’22. HMS (80:20) prices are assessed at INR 40,200/t, while attachment scrap prices stand at INR 41,200/t exy. Marginal correction in steel billet prices and the lack of transactions in yesterday’s trading session led to a slight decline in scrap offers today.
