Singareni Collieries Company Ltd. (SCCL) will conduct the seventh linkage auctions for the non-power sector, as per reports. The company offers fuel supply agreements against coal supply for a minimum of five years by conducting one-time auctions for cement and sponge iron plants, captive power plants as well as other sub-sectors on a yearly basis. In the previous tranche, a total of 1.375 mn t of coal was offered, wherein auction for the sponge sub-sector was excluded. For the latest round, registration details along with the auction schedule will soon be notified on MSTC.
