Following the foot-steps of Coal India Ltd, Telangana based miner-Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) registered its highest-ever coal production in FY’22. The company produced a total of 64.6 million tonnes (mnt) of coal till 29 Mar’22, breaking its previous record of 64.4 mnt of production attained in FY’19. The company is regarded as the second largest independent coal producer after CIL.
