Scania Steels and Powers Ltd has received environmental clearance for a 2.67 mnt/year iron ore beneficiation plant at its Punjipatra facility in Chhattisgarh. A new iron ore pelletization plant with a capacity of 2 x 0.8 MTPA is being established. The plant will be installed within the existing steel complex spread over 37.23 ha and will process iron ore fines into upgraded feedstock for downstream operations.
