Sarda Energy and Minerals Ltd sold 142,000 t pellets in Q2 FY’21 against 77,000 t in the previous quarter, the company reported in a recent press release. 292,000 t iron ore pellets were produced during Apr-Sep’20 (H1 FY’21) against 361,000 t in H1 FY’20. Production in H1 was affected due to the Covid-19 led disruption in the initial period and gradual ramp up on restarting of operations in Q1 FY21. Also, during Q2, the pellet plant was shut down for 17 days for scheduled maintenance.
