India: Sarda Energy’s pellet production rises by 9% y-o-y in H1FY’25

Sarda Energy and Minerals Limited (SEML), one of India’s leading integrated steel producers, recorded pellet production of 425,000 t in H1FY’25 (Apr-Sep’24), up 9% from 391,000 t in H1FY’24.
Pellet sales inched up by 1% to 260,000 t in H1FY’25 as against 259,000 t in the same period last year.
Meanwhile, pellet output rose 2% q-o-q to 214,000 in Q2FY’25 as against 210,000 t in Q1FY’25.
