India: Sarda Energy’s pellet production falls by 7% y-o-y in Q1FY’25

Sarda Energy and Minerals Limited (SEML), one of India’s leading integrated steel producers, recorded pellet production at 210,000 t in Q1FY’25, down by 7% y-o-y from 226,000 t in Q1FY’24.
However, pellet output increased q-o-q by 8% as against 195,000 t in Q4FY’24.
Pellet sales dropped by 15% to 128,000 t in Q1FY’25 as against 151,000 t in the same period last year.
