MSTC conducted an e-auction for 22,890 t of different grades of manganese ore (Mn 20-34%) in two parts on behalf of Sandur Mines (SMIORE) on 24 Feb’22. Nine bidders participated in the auction and booked 18,354 t of ore at a price 1.40% higher than the floor price. Low inventory held by buyers in line with high prices of imported manganese ore resulted in active participation in SMIORE’s auction.
