MSTC conducted an e-auction for 9,576 t of different grades of manganese ore (Mn 26-34%) on behalf of Sandur Mines (SMIORE) on 27 Oct’21. The entire quantity was booked at 5% higher than the floor price, as the prices of manganese alloys are edging higher. India’s manganese alloys units are running at full capacity which resulted in aggressive bidding during the auction, sources informed.
