MSTC-Karnataka conducted an e-auction for 15,624 t of different grades of manganese ore (Mn 20-34%) on behalf of Sandur Mines (SMIORE) on 26 Nov’21. Four bidders participated in the auction and booked 10,080 t of ore at a price 0.06% higher than the floor price. Most of the quantity auctioned had below 30% manganese content. This was the reason for the auction receiving poor response.
