Govt. owned – Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction for around 1,000 t (0-3 & 3-10mm) silico manganese on 28 Dec ’20 from its Chandrapur Ferro Alloy Plant, Maharashtra. Entire offered quantity was booked at INR 45,500/t (0-3mm) and at INR 56,500/t (3-10mm) exw. In the previous auction conducted on 14 Dec’20 the weighted average bid price was at INR 43,900/t (for 0-3 mm) & INR 53,800/t (for 3-10mm), exw respectively.
