Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction for around 1,600 t silico manganese (3-10mm) today from its Chandrapur Ferro Alloy Plant, Maharashtra. The auction received limited participation as only 500 t fetched bids at INR 45,600-48,200/t exw. In the previous auction conducted on 27 Aug’20, for 400 t(3-10mm) silico manganese fetched no bids.
