Govt. owned – Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction for around 900 t silico manganese (0-3 & 3-10mm of grade 56/16) on 23 Mar ’21 from its Chandrapur Ferro Alloy Plant, Maharashtra. Entire quantity offered was booked at INR 55,100/t (0-3mm) and at an average bid price of INR 69,050/t (3-10mm) exw. The price of Silico manganese for grade 60/14, size 10-150mm is around INR 89,000/t ex-Raipur.
