Govt. owned – Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction for around 1,000 t silico manganese (0-3 & 3-10mm) on 11 Feb ’21 from its Chandrapur Ferro Alloy Plant, Maharashtra. Out of the total offered quantity, buyers booked only 200 t at INR 43,530 (0-3mm) and INR 54,560/t (3-10mm). The previous two auctions conducted by the company closed with no bid.
