Govt. owned – Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction for around 1,000 t silico manganese (0-3 & 3-10mm) on 05 Feb ’21 from its Chandrapur Ferro Alloy Plant, Maharashtra. Base price was set at INR 45,450/t (0-3mm) and INR 56,960/t (3-10mm) but the auction failed to receive any bid. The previous auction on 28 Jan ’21 also closed with no bid.
