SAIL conducted an auction for around 1,000 t of silico manganese (0-3 mm and 3-10 mm) on 12 Jan’21 from the Chandrapur Ferro Alloy Plant in Maharashtra. The base price was set at INR 59,950/t for 0-3 mm material. As per latest reports, buyers booked only a single lot at the base price, while the rest of material closed without any result.
