India: SAIL’s Salem plant floats 4,200-t ferro chrome purchase tender

SAIL’s Salem Steel Plant (SSP) has issued a purchase tender for 4,200 t of high-carbon (HC) ferro chrome (Cr: 57-63%, C: 5-8%, 10-70mm). The last date for submission of bids is 5 Aug’24 and the bid offer is valid for 60 days from the last date. BigMint assessed ferro chrome (HC60%, 10-150 mm) prices at INR 107,200/t exw-Jajpur on 26 Jul’24.
