SAIL conducted an auction for steel grade pig iron today for 600 MT from Durgapur steel plant & for 4,600 MT from IISCO Steel Plant based in West Bengal. As per sources report to SteelMint, the auctions received bids at around INR 24,000/MT EXW for over 4,000 MT pig iron. However the auction is yet to approved from company’s management.
