India: SAIL’s pig iron auction prices decline by around INR 1,500/t ($20)

SAIL conducted two auctions for 1,400 t steel grade pig iron from its Rourkela steel plant, Odisha and 5,700 t from its Bokaro steel plant, Jharkhand. As per sources report to SteelMint, the weighted average auction price in Rourkela declined by INR 1,500/t to INR 26,870/t exw against the last auction conducted on 24 Aug’20. Auction from Bokaro plant received no bids.
