SAIL conducted an auction for around 14,250 t (2,850 t x 5 rakes) basic grade pig iron today from its Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL), Jharkhand. The bid price was reported at INR 29,500/t exw for all five rakes, stable against the last auction conducted on 18 Nov ’20. Another auction conducted from Durgapur plant for 1,300 t fetched bids at 30,600/t exw.
