Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction today for 40,000 t of iron ore fines (Fe 62.5%- indicative) from its Bolani mines in Odisha. According to the latest update, the auction closed without a single bid being placed. The same grade material of 40,000 t was last sold on 30 Mar’22, nearly five months back, as per the record maintained by SteelMint.
