SAIL-Durgapur Steel Plant held an auction for 2,000 t of steel grade pig iron on 3 Mar’23. Only 1,200 t was booked at an average price of INR 41,250/t exw. The last auction was conducted on 3 Feb’23. The entire quantity was booked at an average price of INR 43,600/t exw.
