Steel Authority of India (SAIL) conducted an auction for 56,000 t iron ore fines (Fe 61%) from its Rajhara mines in Chhattisgarh. Entire quantity received bids at INR 3,580-3,740/t (loaded into rakes and including royalty), as per sources. However, approval on the bids from the company’s management stands awaited. The last auction from the Rajhara mines on 9th Sept fetched bids at INR 3,520/t but was canceled by the management.
