Steel major SAIL is planning to increase its crude steel production capacity to around 35 mnt in line with the country’s aim to produce 300 mnt of crude steel by CY30. An investment of INR 110,000 crores will be made for the capacity expansion. The current crude steel production capacity of the company is 20.63 mnt.
