SAIL has scheduled an auction for 4,000 t of basic grade pig iron to be held on 15 Dec’21 from Bokaro Steel Plant, Jharkhand. At the previous auction on 8 Dec, 4,000 t (two lots) of material was booked at INR 35,550/t and INR 36,000/t exw. However, the auction was not approved due to expectation of higher bids by the company’s management.
