SAIL will auction 9,500 t of steel grade pig iron (in 95 units) from Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) on 9 Dec’21. At the previous auction held on 3 Dec, Due to the higher base price set by the company, buyer booked only 2,100 t pig iron out of 4,800 t material at a weighted average price of INR 36,450/t exw. Bid prices decreased by INR 270/t in comparison with the previous auction on 25 Nov.
