SAIL will auction 8,500 t of steel grade pig iron (in 85 units) from Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) on 5 Jan’22. At the previous auction on 30 Dec, 4,800 t of material was booked at a weighted average price of INR 38,356/t exw, as per SteelMint reports. Bid prices increased by INR 1,300/t in comparison with an earlier auction on 23 Dec.
