Government-owned steel company SAIL has scheduled an auction for 6,000 t steel grade pig iron on 4 June’21 from its Durgapur Steel Plant in West Bengal. At the previous auction on 19 May’21, the entire quantity of 3,000 t of pig iron was booked at a weighted average price of INR 38,300/t, exw, as per SteelMint reports.
