Government-owned steelmaker SAIL has scheduled an auction for 5,700 t (two rakes) of basic grade pig iron on 16 Jun’21. The auction will be conducted by SAIL’s Bokaro Steel Plant, Jharkhand. Out of four rakes on offer at the previous auction on 9 Jun, buyers booked three rakes totalling 6,850 t at INR 37,500/t, exw, sources reported. The bid price increased by INR 300/t, as per SteelMint reports.
