Steel Authority of India (SAIL) is going to conduct two pig iron (basic grade) auctions for around 2000 t (by road) and 2,000 t (by rail mode) from its IISCO Steel Plant, Burnpur, West Bengal. Both the auctions are scheduled for 05 May ’21. The previous auction, conducted on 22 April for 1,400 t was concluded at a weighted price of INR 38,050/t exw.
