State-owned Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) has scheduled an auction on 15 Jun’21 for 1,200 t (0-3mm and 3-10mm) silico manganese from its Chandrapur Ferro Alloy Plant in Maharashtra. At the previous auction from the plant on 7 Jun, 200 t (0-3mm) material was booked at INR 61,500/t, and for another lot of 0-3mm bids closed at INR 68,350/t. For 3-10mm, the whole quantity of 1,100 t was booked at INR 77,800/t. Bid prices for both sizes of material on offer increased by 3,150/t ($43), exw, as per SteelMint data.
