SAIL-Taldhi conducted an auction for 24,110 t of iron ore dump fines in two lots on 15 May’24. According to sources,
- One lot of 16,050 t (Fe 56.16%) was booked at INR 2,900/t against the base price of INR 2,850/t.
- Second lot of 8,060 t (Fe 57.14%) got booked at INR 3,095/t against the base price of INR 2,850/t. Notably, bid prices went higher by INR 245/t.
- Prices are on ex-mines basis and include royalty, DMF, NMET & an extra premium.
