SAIL-Salem Steel Plant (SSP) has floated a purchase tender for 1,200 t of high-carbon ferro chrome (Cr: 57- 63%, C: 5- 8%,10-70 mm). The last date for bid submission is 20 Sep’25, and the bid offer is valid for 60 days from the auction date. BigMint assessed Indian ferro chrome (HC60%,10-150 mm) prices at INR 113,700/t exw-Jajpur on 5 Sep’25.
