SAIL-Salem Steel Plant (SSP) has issued a purchase tender for 4,300 t of high-carbon ferro chrome (Cr 57-63%, C: 5-8%, 10-70 mm). The last date for submission of bids is 16 May’26 and delivery is scheduled within 30 days from date of purchase order. BigMint assessed HC ferro chrome (Cr: 60%, 10-150 mm) prices at INR 118,600/t ($1,255/t) exw-Jajpur on 6 May.
