India’s largest steel producer, Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL), has scheduled an auction for 3,000 t (10-150 mm) of HC ferro chrome (60%) on 30 Dec’22 for its Salem Steel Plant (SSP), Tamil Nadu facility. The bid offer is valid for 65 days from the end date. SteelMint’s assessment for ferro chrome prices stood at INR 97,500/t exw-Jajpur as on 16 Dec’22.
