India’s largest steel producer, Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL), has floated a purchase tender for 1,750 t (10-150 mm) of MC silico manganese (grade: 55-20, size:10-100 mm) for its Salem Steel Plant (SSP),Tamil Nadu. The last date for bid submission is 23 Jan’23 and the bid offer is valid for 60 days from the date of auction. SteelMint’s assessment for silico manganese prices stood at INR 92,000/t exw-Durgapur as on 12 Jan’22.
