Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL), has floated a purchase tender for 1,600 t of ferro silicon (Si-70%, size: 10-50 mm) for its Salem Steel Plant (SSP), Tamil Nadu. The last date for bid submission is 6 Feb’23 and the bid offer is valid for 65 days from the date of auction. Ferro silicon prices stood at INR 124,000/t exw-Guwahati as on 27 Jan’23.
