SAIL conducted an auction for 1,300 t (0-3 & 3-10mm) silico manganese yesterday from its Chandrapur Plant. Bids reported for 600t (0-3mm) were ~INR 28,450-29,250/t EXW, while for 300t (3-10mm) were ~INR 45,300/t EXW. In the previously conducted auction, the entire 1,100 t quantity was booked, (0-3mm) at INR ~28,500-28,550/t and (3-10mm) at INR 46,950/t EXW.
