SAIL has scheduled an auction for around 3,100 t of basic grade pig iron (31 units) from the Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) and another auction for 500 t from the Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP). While the auction from Rourkela is scheduled for 2 Feb’22, the one from Durgapur is on 3 Feb. In the previous auction from RSP conducted on 18 Jan, 4,800 t was sold at around INR 42,350/t exw.
