PSU steelmaker Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) has scheduled an auction for 3,000 t of steel grade pig iron (in 30 units) from Rourkela Steel Plant in Odisha on 16 Jul’21. At the previous auction on 9 Jul, 4,000 t of pig iron was booked at INR 36,200/t exw, as per SteelMint reports. Bid prices increased by INR 200/t ($2). Another pig iron auction has been fixed by SAIL-ISP for 900 t on 14 Jul.
