PSU steelmaker Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) has scheduled an auction for 3,200 t of steel grade pig iron (in 32 units) from Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) in Odisha on 28 Aug’21. At the previous auction on 23 Aug, 3,600 t of pig iron was booked at INR 37,700/t exw, as per SteelMint reports. Bid prices decreased by INR 500/t ($6/t) in comparison with the earlier auction on 16 Aug, which had concluded at a weighted average price of INR 38,200/t exw.
