SAIL-Rourkela Steel Plant held an auction for 6,000 t of steel grade pig iron on 2 March’24. 4,800 t quantity was booked at an average price of INR 36,550/t exw. The last auction was conducted on 3,500 t of steel grade pig iron on 27 Feb’24 in which the entire quantity of 3,500 t was booked at an average price of INR 36,850/t exw.
