SAIL’s Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) recently released its operational results for FY22. The steel major recorded 11.4% growth in its crude steel production to 0.33 mnt. Hot-metal production was up by 12% to 0.37 mnt, and saleable steel output rose by 6.6% to 0.29 mnt against CPLY. In Apr’22, RSP won the best integrated steel plant award under the SAIL corporate excellence awards.
