SAIL-Rourkela Steel Plant held an auction for 5,500 t of steel grade pig iron on 27 Apr’24. 3,800 t quantity was booked at an average price of INR 40,150/t exw. The last auction was conducted for 9,000 t of steel grade pig iron on 18 April in which the entire quantity was booked at an average price of INR 40,250/t exw.
