SAIL’s Rourkela Steel Plant conducted auction today (30th Apr’20) for sale about 3,000 MT steel grade pig iron. As per sources, the auction received received no response. The base price for the tender was quoted by company was at INR 25,600/MT EXW. With furnaces remaining closed due to lock-down the auction received no participation, shared sources.
